ARM is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of arabian horses in need, and at times, other breeds. Not only are we breed specific and the only Arabian rescue, but we specialize in large herds. Our primary goal is to facilitate their gentle release, prior to the necessity of seizure. In 2012 we were able to help 441 horses of which 85% were Arabians.
Our secondary goal is the education of those handling rescue and rehabilitation, first responders at the time of seizure and owners, where surrender may be iminent. We are charged with the task of discreetly negotiating the release of animals in decline, initiating programs to help owners facing life challenges and providing the tools necessary for a safe and legal seizure, where necessary.
We are a federally approved 501(c)3 non-profit organization and were awarded Top-Rated Non-Profit for the last 4 years in a row by greatnonprofits.org. You can find us on Guidestar. We are registered with Bank of America, ChaseGiving, Prudential and other corporations in their Donation Matching programs. You can also find us on Facebook, Ebay Missionfish, Petfinder, Firstgiving, and iGive for fundraising and networking.
Please consider donating to our ARM- Farm Project - remember to ask your employer if they have a Donation Match Program. That will double your generosity without costing you a penny more!
All monies received for this project are being held in an interest bearing account until needed for the new farm.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
